Yet another

week goes by were I haven't posted a mix.  My weeknight time is pretty limited.  Which is why you see my spitting out ~20 minutes mixes.  That's I'll I've got.  This week, each night I stood at the decks, I wasted the whole 20 minutes trying to figure out just how the fuck rekordbox works.  Yea, it's  that much of a pain in the dick. Pioneer advertises it does all these things, and it does, but half of them are fucking OFF by default.  "Map hotcues for each track and save them to a thumbdrive."  Oh, awesome!  Wait...why aren't they loading when I select a track.  You mean to tell me there's an option to autoload hotcues, and it's fucking OFF by default!? Anyway, I think I've figured it out, and now it's back to traktor. Cuz traktor works.  I spent the time figuring out rekordbox so if I DO get a club gig, I'm g2g to rock up with a thumbdrive.  So this week it's back to business as usual: 20 minute mixes. BOOM Headshot

Down to 215 as of this morning. I haven't been this lean in 2 years, and if I'm honest with myself........I wasn't really "this lean" the last time I saw this number on a scale. I look better than I've looked in a long time, but thats not saying much. There's still a fuckload more work to do, but I at least have the confidence that I CAN do it. Not only can I do it, but if I slip up (like decide to go to a BBQ or some such) its not the end of the world. I can get right back on zee wagon and smash through any kind of plateau spending a weekend being fatty-patty might otherwise stick me at. So in addition to the weight loss, and more accurately fat loss, I'm somehow stronger than ever? I'm benching, curling, and pulling up as much if not more weight than I ever have before. In theory it shouldn't be like this. Cutting calories like I am makes you weak. I guess I carry enough additional calories around in my 5 mph crash bumper that I can maintain ...

I've been ignoring this blog for a minute because of the last few week's craziness, but the upside is that there's stuff to actually say. Cobra I've redecided...again...to attempt the coyote swap on the Cobra.  The 3 issues have always been  Sound Cruise Emissions I've heard enough sound clips of coyote swapped foxes at this point that I'm kinda convinced I won't lose my 4v burble.  As to the cruise and emissions...well...I might be able to fix the cruise.  And as for the emissions: fuck it.  I'm putting a FAR more efficient engine in, it will have cats so the state of Texas can get fucked on their non-emissions emisssions test.  If they'd actually put the sniffer to it, it'd pass.  But nnnnoooooo they just want to plug into the computer.
