Restart

Ok, time to restart. I've kinda sorta mostly gotten moved into my new house (although FHA is passively threatening to kick me out of a single water-rotted plank of hardwood flooring), and its time to get back on the diet that worked for me the very first time I lost weight. Some things I've noticed so far: soft drinks are BRUTAL on calories, and protein shakes taste like dirty socks mixed with ballsweat. Ah well, I'll get used to it.

A little about my diet:

Its a high protein/ medium fat/ low carb diet. I can here people saying "omg, its atkins its bad for j00!" eeehhh....its not atkins. I eat some carbs, and I'm not on the "stuff your fat face with as many greaseball burgers as you want so long as you don't eat the bun" plan. I still have a calorie intake a try to hit so the fats stay down. Its also a 5 meal a day plan. Well....more like 3 meals + 2 protein shakes. My caloric intake is set at 2000 calories a day which should allow me to sink to 180 lbs if I stick to it long enough. I'd cry myself to sleep (tears of joy) if I got as far as 200. If I got to 180..............I'd become a manwhore because for the first time in my life I'd look good enough that I could successfully sell myself on body alone. Anyway..............here's a sample mealplan

meal #1: 3/4 egg beaters, 1 slice wheat toast covered in natural peanut butter

meal #2: whey protein shake

meal #3: sandwich (with some kind of veggie) and chips

meal #4: whey protein shake or yogurt

meal #5: some protein, very low carbs (fajita chicken, ground beef, ground turkey...something)

I'm still working out the exact details trying to hit the 2000 calorie mark, and since my fridge is totally empty dinner is still up in the air. I'm considering a few possible different recipes. I will start to update this on at least a weekly basis.
