Chubby Racer

I managed to crack off one mix this week...just one.  It was kinda meh, but I'm getting more fantsy-pantsy and bold with my effects timing.  So that's something. I really need to plan better.  Somehow I made all my dentist appointments during cake month which mad fucks up my schedule.  I'm sure you're thinking "uh...how?"  Well, I chose a dentist based on convenience for my old job.  Now that I work downtown...NOTHING is convenient.  So I have to skip a workout and/or skip a workout and leave early...it's just a fucking mess.  So I'm not getting accomplished what I want to get accomplished outside of work.  BUT.  Last appointment tomorrow, and maybe I can relax into a good mix or two during the week this week.

Today is the second day of my cake month.  What does that have to do with this blog?  Nothing.  Nothing at all.  However, considering how busy I've been at work lately, it's the most interesting thing I'm going to say in this blog.  Shit...I probably should have saved that for something further than the third sentence so you'd continue to read,  Oh well. I made two mixes this week, but decided against posting either.  I have this problem that when I get TOO into the music, my mixing tanks.  I don't know why but when I'm excited and grooving, I went to exit songs WAY to early, and just get into the next cool track.  I guess that's fine when I'm kicking around at home, but it'd be bad if I went there in a club.  Here's to hoping that nerves will keep me under control live.
